Operating Centre
An operating centre is where vehicles are normally kept when not in use. When you apply for an operator’s licence, you’ll be asked to give the address of your proposed centre(s) and information about the number of trailers and vehicles you will keep there.
You’ll need to show that your operating centre:
is large enough
has safe access
is in an environmentally acceptable location
Financial Standing – Is the level of funds that restricted standard national and standard international licence holders will be required to demonstrate they have access to. These are at set at a figure that reflect the cost of repairing and maintaining a LGV.
