CASE STUDY 132
Case Study 134
Andy is an agency driver which means he is sent to a variety of different companies and asked to drive different vehicles. Today he is driving an 18 tonne rigid box lorry which was manufactured in 2005. It has over 700,000km on the clock, an analogue tachograph and an exhaust brake. Despite the high mileage the vehicle is well looked after and is mechanically sound.
After completing his daily checks he will leave the yard at 05:00am and deliver a load 300km away in central England. On his way back he will be joined by a colleague who will drive back to the yard.
