Case Study 64

Frank is the senior driver for a company based in the North West of England that manufactures own brand crisps for national supermarket chains. Today, the company is due to take delivery of a new, six-axle combination comprising a tractor unit and double-decker trailer

Unfortunately, the delivery of the vehicle is taking longer than expected. The vehicle manufacturer has informed them that the driver who is delivering the tractor unit and trailer has just suffered a rear-wheel blowout on the motorway. He will be around 20 minutes later than expected as he has had to wait for the wheel to be changed on the roadside.
