Case Study 41

Kieran works for a builders merchant delivering bricks and building supplies across the North West and his deliveries are often to rural destinations.

He starts work today at 5 am, and the transport office has given him the keys to an 18 tonne rigid flatbed.

It’s a cold and icy day in the middle of winter and the temperature is minus 6 C
Before starting his deliveries, Kieran must carry out daily checks on his vehicle and report any defects to the transport manager.

Kieran cares about the environment and is keen to minimise any impact his driving may have on it.
