Case Study 41
Kieran works for a builders merchant delivering bricks and building supplies across the North West. His usual daily deliveries are to rural destinations.
He starts work today at 5 am and the transport office has given him the keys for an 18 tonne rigid flatbed.
It’s the middle of winter a cold and icy day with the temperature at -6c.
Prior to starting his deliveries, Kieran is required to carry out daily checks on his vehicle and report any defects to the transport manager.
Kieran cares about the environment and is keen to minimise any impact his driving has on it.
