Ted works for an overnight distribution company. He carries out a trunk run to the distribution hub and back each night.

Almost all of his route is on the motorway network.

Ted drives a rigid vehicle with a GVW of 26,000 kg which is two years old. He has been driving for more than 15 years, but has recently become anxious about driving on the motorway following a serious road collision earlier this year.
