Case Study 12

Natasha drives a 44 tonne articulated lorry for a general haulage firm delivering pallets to various destinations throughout the country.

It’s the middle of November and has been raining heavily most of the night, this has continued throughout the day.

Natasha starts her shift at 10:00 am and stops in a lay-by at 12:00 pm for a 15 minute rest and to buy a drink from a burger van.

At 8 pm on her way back to the depot, she is involved in a road traffic accident with another LGV.
