Case Study 101
Mark is driving at night on a three lane motorway. On his immediate right hand side are amber reflective stud markings and on his left are white studs.
He is driving a truck which has a gross vehicle weight of 12,500kg and one passenger seat. It does not have any modern gadgets such as inbuilt satellite navigation or a sleeper cab but Mark is happy with it.
This is his first day in this new job and his 35th birthday. He is driving to Inverness in Scotland from Cornwall so will need to take a daily rest period before completing his journey.
He’s also a little tired. This morning he went to the opticians to collect his first pair of glasses which he is now required to wear for driving.
