BOOKING THEORY TESTS

The Theory consists of three modules – multiple-choice, hazard perception and the CPC case studies test. 

You have to book all three modules separately, but you can take them on the same day. It doesn’t matter which one you take first.

Top Tip

Take the part 2 case studies test at the same time as the theory and hazard perception.

Doing this will mean you can get your driver CPC as soon as you've passed the practical. You can then start work straight away!

You must take one of the following forms of ID to the test centre:​

  • A Great Britain photocard driving licence
  • A Northern Ireland photocard driving licence and paper counterpart
  • A EU photocard driving licence (and paper counterpart, if you have one)
  • If you don’t have a photocard driving licence, take your paper licence and a valid passport.
